Note a) Si is not specified. However, upon agreement between supplier and purchaser, limits or ranges such as ≤0.10%, 0.10%–0.20%, or 0.15%–0.35% may be established.
b) Elements not specified in this table shall not be intentionally added to the steel, except for the purpose of completing the steelmaking process, unless agreed upon by the supplier and purchaser.
c) For SUM22 and SUM22L, the upper limit for Mn may be set at 1.10% upon agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.
d) When product analysis for lead in leaded steel is conducted at the purchaser's request, the lead content shall be 0.07–0.35%.
